Welcome Students!
General Class information:
- Meets Daily (rotating schedule)
- Requirements: Graphing Calculator (TI-84c), IPad, Stylus for IPad (cheap one or expensive Apple one), Pen.
- Extra help available: Most days (except when I have meetings).
- Grading each quarter: (all amounts approximate): 2 Unit Tests (around 80 points each), 4 Quizzes (around 40 points each), 30 HWs (4 points each), 1 Reflection Paper (25 points).
- Final grade: 4 Quarters (20% each), Midterm (10% comprising of a project: 6% and a Test 4%), Final exam (10%).
- Final grade required to stay in Honors for the following year (85% and passing grade (raw score) on the final exam).
Class communication:
All communications with me should go through DBP email and cc your parents. Do not use the contact me forms, etc. on this site. I will not respond to any email not coming from your DBP address.

- Learn how to setup your Notability App by watching this video (please just use “Honors Algebra 2” instead of “Geometry” which is what the video tells you).
Video Lessons:
A lesson on PEMDAS (order of operations). Parents, Tutors, and students will find this helpful. Parents and Tutors can see how we teach this topic in class so they can better help students.
